If you are new to baccarat it is one of the many classic casino card games out there and can be very fun to play. The basic rules are that you bet against either the player winning the hand, the bank winning the had or on a tie. This is denoted by placing chips on the required section of the gaming board. The value of cards are as follows:
Cards 2 to 9 are worth their face value in points (so card 5 would be worth 5 points), 10s and picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth zero, and Aces are worth 1 point. Should your total hand add up to over 10, you must take away 10 points. So a hand with a 5 and an 8 is (5 + 8 = 13 - 10 = 3). The aim is to bet on the hand with the most points, whether it be your own of the banker’s.
